I live in Santa Cristina d'Aro, with my dogs, in the place that is that inspires me and this brand.
I've used cannabis for my own wellbeing for years. It helps me stay focused, stay calm, and function better. But I really came to understand the benefits while my late wife was going through chemotherapy. The side effects were relentless, and cannabis was one of the few things that gave her real relief. I made her gummies, infused oils, butter, edibles, whatever I could to help her get through it.
That experience changed something. I went from someone who appreciated cannabis to someone who needed to understand it. I started reading clinical studies, pharmacokinetic data, mechanism-of-action research. I wanted to know exactly which cannabinoids helped with what, at what doses, and why.
When I looked at what was on the market, I found the same problems everywhere. Products leading with "CBD" as a buzzword instead of telling you what the formula actually does. Underdosed ingredients with no clinical backing. No batch lab results. No transparency about who made it or where it came from.
I built Gavarres to fix that. Every formula starts with a function, every ingredient is backed by published research, and every batch is independently tested. You can see who makes it, who tests it, and what's in it.

Evidence-backed.
We start with a function, then we find complimentary compounds which have published research that shows they help deliver that function. Each active ingredient is included at it's effective dose according to the clinical data.
The base is a full-spectrum hemp extract, because the research suggests whole-plant cannabinoid profiles outperform isolates.
Our Sleep formula is a good example. Rather than adding CBD and calling it a sleep product, we combine three compounds, each targeting a different part of the sleep process:
- CBD 50mg promotes pre-sleep calm by reducing anxiety
- CBN 25mg supports sleep continuity
- Melatonin 1mg regulates sleep onset
