Is THC legal in Poland?

Situación formal

Possession is a crime in Poland, punishable by up to three years, and while a prosecutor may drop a small personal-use case that is discretionary rather than a right. Growing a few plants carries the same maximum. Medical cannabis is unusually accessible, prescribed by any doctor as a pharmacy-compounded raw material, though patients pay in full. For supplements Poland applies the 0.3% hemp definition and sets no tighter national ceiling for finished products.

Not at the moment.

Yes, we ship to Poland.

Poland applies the standard European hemp threshold of 0.3 per cent THC, and raised it to that level in 2022 rather than tightening it. It sets no additional, stricter limit for supplements or finished products, which several other European countries do. Our extract is tested against that threshold by an independent laboratory and sits comfortably inside it, and we publish the results for every batch.

One thing worth knowing: Polish authorities assess the THC content of the finished product rather than only the plant it came from. That is a good reason for us to keep a real margin rather than sit close to the line, which is what our published testing shows we do.

Perspectivas

Poland has just raised its hemp threshold rather than lowered it, and no proposal to change the 0.3 per cent figure is pending. The direction of Polish legislative attention is towards synthetic and semi-synthetic cannabinoids, which is where its recent scheduling activity has gone.

A draft amendment from January 2025 would have prohibited hemp flower and hemp e-liquids intended for smoking or inhalation while expressly leaving oils and foods permitted. It remains unadopted.

The thing to watch is not the number but how it is measured. Polish practice of assessing the finished extract rather than the source material is the feature of this regime most likely to produce an unexpected result, and it is the reason we keep our published batch testing well inside the limit rather than close to it.
